Staff Accountant Position Overview Our client is seeking adetail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client’s diverse teamof experts. This role will oversee general accounting operationswhile supporting the organization. The ideal candidate iscollaborative, adaptable, and capable of solving problems withminimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Execute month-end closeactivities including general ledger entries, balance sheetreconciliations, and P&L variance analysis Support inventorymanagement through reconciliations and cycle counts Assist withcash management and forecasting Review and process invoicesubmissions Develop and document accounting policies to strengtheninternal controls Contribute to annual budget planning andoperating forecasts Support internal and external audit processesProvide accounting support for AR/AP functions Oversee inventorytransactions, identify discrepancies, and recommend processimprovements Reconcile inventory accounts, purchase orders,receipts, and transfers Analyze cost variances related to shipmentsand landed costs Prepare and distribute daily financial reportsincluding cash deposits, sales, and order data Manage monthlyreceivables and follow up with customers regarding paymentsRequired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics,or related field 1-5 years of accounting experience AdvancedMicrosoft Excel skills QuickBooks proficiency would be a huge plusStrong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication abilities Self-motivatedwith ability to work both independently and collaborativelyAnalytical problem-solving skills in standardized situationsExperience in manufacturing environments would be a PLUS
