Inventory Accountant (Temp to Perm)
Pay Rate:
$35-37/hr
Location:
Brooklyn, NY – •Near DUMBO• (5 days a week onsite) The ideal candidate will bring a background in inventory reconciliation, receiving, and materials management—someone comfortable digging into discrepancies, reviewing cycle counts, and investigating inventory issues in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Locate and verify Proof of Delivery (POD) on vendor websites for missing receipts Create and maintain accurate item records in the inventory system Review and post cycle counts, including logical analysis of any variances Investigate inventory discrepancies and PO-related issues Collaborate with internal teams (receiving, purchasing, operations) to ensure inventory accuracy Identify and resolve valuation/inventory mismatches Maintain clear and accurate documentation for internal reporting and audits
