Senior Financial Analyst/Accountant Position Available In Kings, New York

Position Summary We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst/Accountant, to join our growing team, with expert financial analysis skills who is comfortable working for a fast-paced, PE-backed company. This is a new role and will encompass a mix of reporting and analysis as well as support the financial operations and month end closing. Responsibilities Develop and publish analytical reports to help inform and drive the business forward Prepare key performance metrics Analyze our data to offer strategic input and drive informed decision-making Build financial models and reports to evaluate strategic priorities, return on investment (ROI), and other ad-hoc projects Build robust charts and tables for board meeting decks Collaborate on process improvements, including budgeting and forecasting enhancements and system implementations to drive efficiency and accuracy Perform daily and weekly accounting tasks for timely monthly and year end close, including journal entries Cross train to learn full accounting cycle and processes All other duties as assigned Qualifications B.S. In Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics 3-5 years of experience in finance planning/analysis, accounting, investment banking, and/or private equity Enthusiastic, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment High proficiency with financial modeling and analysis and provide actionable insights from the data Working knowledge of GAAP Advanced skills in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, charting, etc.) PowerPoint, and data analytics platforms Experience with Microsoft Business Central/Navision, Shopify, Power BI, and Think Cell are desirable
