They are looking togrow their accounting team and bring on a new Accountant Lookingfor someone with initiative and a want to grow within the company!
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Analyze account activity: Investigate andexplain fluctuations in account balances, identify trends, andreconcile discrepancies.
Prepare journal entries:
Accurately recordfinancial transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
Financial statement review: Assist in the preparation and analysisof financial statements, including income statements, balancesheets, and cash flow statements.
Month-end close support:
Participate in month-end closing activities, including accountreconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
This may involve:
Preparing and entering journal entries for accruals, deferrals, andreclasses Reconciling balance sheet accounts to supportingdocumentation Analyzing and reviewing expense reports Assistingwith the preparation of monthly financial reports
Processimprovement:
Identify opportunities to streamline accountingprocesses and improve efficiency.
Special projects:
Contribute toad-hoc financial analysis and reporting projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
BA in Accounting, Finance or related filed! Techsavvy and detail oriented! INFEB2025
