Accounts Payable Accountant CGC for Bachrach Group Jericho, NY 11753 Global Logistics company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Intercompany Accounts Payable Accountant to join the team in Jericho, NY. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to gain valuable experience in intercompany accounting within a supportive and fast-paced environment. The role is full-time, onsite, and has the potential to transition to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and record intercompany accounts payable transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts to ensure accuracy; resolve discrepancies as needed Assist with monthly intercompany account reconciliations and variance investigations Prepare and process intercompany payments, ensuring proper documentation and compliance Collaborate with internal teams and international affiliates to address invoice or payment-related inquiries Maintain organized and accurate records for audit and internal control purposes Support month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring timely and accurate AP entries Contribute to the development and enhancement of intercompany AP processes and internal controls

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy Basic understanding of accounting principles; GAAP familiarity is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is a plus, but not required Strong organizational and time management skills Effective written and verbal communication skills A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the organization
