IMMEDIATE PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT NEEDED OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FOR ONE OF THE LARGEST NON PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE AREA FULL TIME OPPORTUNITY WITH ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT MONDAY – FRIDAY 830AM-5PM HYBRID SCHEDULE OFFERED NY, NY

YEAR Qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree in accounting required + Property accounting experience + General ledger/journal entry experience + Microsoft Excel proficiency
Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and post accurate and timely journal entries for property-related transactions. + Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. + Develop and maintain call schedules and supporting documentation for property operations. + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial schedules and reports for internal and external stakeholders. + Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. + Collaborate with property managers and other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies. + Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries. + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in property accounting. + Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 – $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
