The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of financial principles to support the organization’s financial health. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements. Manage journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies. Assist in tax preparation and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft for efficient record-keeping. Monitor financial performance by analyzing variances and preparing reports for management review. Support the financial management process by providing insights on budgeting and forecasting. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, including debits and credits. Experience with tax preparation and compliance is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
