Property Management Accountant ARC Consulting Firm, LLC Astoria, NY 11103 Are you a skilled accountant or bookkeeper with 3+ years of experience and a passion for real estate? Join our dynamic team of professionals dedicated to maintaining high standards in accounting and reporting for a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
What We’re Looking For:
We seek an organized, detail-oriented individual who excels in accounting principles, enjoys working with numbers, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Your contributions will ensure the seamless operation of our accounting department, directly supporting our company’s success in property management.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze income and cash flow statements. Prepare and issue monthly rent invoices. Assist in the development of monthly and annual property budgets and forecasts. Compile and present monthly financial reports. Reconcile bank accounts accurately and efficiently. Collect and input rent payments. Process bills and assist with audits. Review accounts payable and receivable. Support year-end audit and tax return preparation. Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Undertake special projects and generate ad hoc reports. Assist with filing and other administrative tasks.
Who You Are:
A team player with strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail. A clear communicator who is comfortable handling day-to-day business operations, including answering phones. Proficient in Excel, Word, QuickBooks, and AppFolio Property Management System. At least three years of accounting experience in Property Management industry GAAP preference
