Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly grant reimbursement vouchersand prepare all related journal entries and accruals. Demonstratecompetency in using various vendor software for vouchering andreporting, ie, HHS Accelerator, CFR, HUD Continuum of Care. Monitorgrant budget spending and prepare budget modification requests asneeded. Meet with Program Director to manage spending and determinebudget modifications. Ensure vouchers are issued on time andmonitor reimbursements are received timely. Follow up with fundersas necessary. Process monthly general ledger closing, prepareadjusting journal entries, and update all monthly work papers,including fixed asset and depreciation, insurance expense, andother accrued expenses. Reconcile intercompany accounts for allpartnerships and submit reimbursements. Prepare and review monthlybank reconciliations. Prepare annual operating budgets and performvariance analysis monthly. Analyze outstanding tenant accounts andprepare bad debt analysis. Prepare quarterly (or monthly) limitedpartner reports for each tax credit project. Interface with auditorto prepare annual audit and tax returns. Review development projectclosing legal documents, review construction in progress schedulesand prepare accounting entries as necessary. Support Director ofAccounting with preparation of monthly corporate work papers,including but not limited to insurance, depreciation, managementfees, accrued expenses, debt service, etc. Support VP Finance inpreparing other specialized financial reporting as needed.
Desiredqualifications:
Bachelor degree in accounting. CPA or MBA a plus.3-5 years of related experience with grant, property managementand/or non-profit accounting. This position is offering a salary of$85,000-$95,000 depending on experience. This role is full-timeonsite.
