Job Description

Revenue Cycle Analyst- Home Health 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars McCandless, PA 15237 We are seeking for an efficient and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Analyst to enhance our company’s revenue cycle operations by developing and implementing strategies to increase our revenue in cost effective manner. Demonstrates highly self-motivated and goal driven professional person with the ability of excellent collaboration and communication skills. Having the knowledge and experience to perform the revenue forecast with good ethical principles of integrity and accuracy in the accounting practices.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains all Account Receivable functions in the Revenue Cycle Department. Closes the books weekly for all business units for Payroll and Billing purposes. Data Processing in Axxcess Software for all daily transactions of posting payments, adjustments, denials, charges, demographics, claims and write-offs. Submits monthly invoices to Medicaid Spenddown Clients and negotiates payment arrangements. Utilizing Converge Software to process payments over the phone. Edits with corrections of all denied claims to Indiana Medicaid through Web Interchange Software. Bills all Traditional Medicaid and other Medicaid- Managed Health Care Services like Anthem through Availity Software, Caresouce Software and MHS Software on a weekly or monthly basis. Bills Veteran Administration clients weekly through VACCN software and receive all payment through Optum Payment Service Software for all payment and denial status. Prepares reports to work the Aging to decrease Account Receivable days and meeting deadlines. Communicates with Clients, Medicaid, Veteran Administration, Staff/Management and Others.

Education and Experience:

Preferred a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and have equivalent experience in the Health Care industry. Knowledge of Indiana Medicaid guidelines and regulations. Good organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Accounting, Microsoft Office, Data Analysis, and other software programs. Good analytical and critical thinking abilities. Ability to prioritize, work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation:

60,000-70,000K
