Job Description
Staff Accountant 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars 1049 Jefferson Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15235 Turner Dairy is once again excited to add more talent to our team. Turner Dairy Farms, a family-owned company, is looking for a career-minded individual to assist with various accounting roles such as AR, AP, account analysis, and credit management. This is an entry-level, full-time position working 40 hours per week onsite.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and verify payments for invoices. Post payments into ERP system and actively track customer payment schedules. Research and resolve payment discrepancies and issues. Pursue and collect on delinquent accounts. Provide backup coverage for the route settlement desk. Assist leadership teams with ad hoc projects, reports, and other requests. Maintain confidentiality. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills. All other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred. 1+ years of work-related accounting experience preferred. Knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, and credit management. Proficient in data entry. Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
