Tax Accountant – High-Net-Worth Clients

Are you a detail-driven and motivated Tax Accountant ready to take your career to the next level? Our expanding law firm—headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA with a second office in New York—is seeking a talented tax professional to join our growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working closely with a team of attorneys and tax professionals to serve high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. You’ll be involved in complex tax planning, compliance, and estate strategy, gaining exposure to some of the most sophisticated client matters in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Tax Return Preparation
Prepare and review a variety of complex tax returns including partnership, S-corporation, individual, trust, estate, and foundation returns
✔ Tax Planning & Strategy
Work hand-in-hand with attorneys to develop custom tax strategies
Support planning related to charitable giving, estate structuring, investments, and business entities
✔ Client Relationships
Build trust and long-term relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
Provide answers, updates, and solutions for complex tax matters
Participate in complex estate and trust administration for a full-picture view of client needs
✔ Project Management
Handle multiple tax matters at once, managing timelines and priorities
Ensure deadlines are met with accuracy and professionalism
Do You Check All the Boxes?
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
3-5 years of tax preparation and planning experience
Experience with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, or estate work is strongly preferred
Skilled in tax prep software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and client service skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
