Accountant Position Available In Bucks, Pennsylvania

Description A Company in Newtown, PA is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its team for a possible temporary to hire opportunity. This position will begin immediately and is a hybrid work schedule. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including processing payroll, managing accounts payable, preparing month-end journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and performing other functions as needed. This position requires prior experience in a financial services environment as well as proficiency in using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a financial services environment.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of payroll systems, particularly ADP.
• Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in accounting.
• Solid knowledge of balance sheet account reconciliation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
