Responsibilities:
Accounting Associate Data entry into fixed asset system to prepare assets for depreciation. Initiating the automated depreciation schedules and review posting into the general ledger system. Tracks and reconciles construction in progress accounts (CIPs) Prepare requests by the U.S. Census Bureau and other agencies. Data Entry into Payroll Based Journal (PBJ)
CMS QIES
portal. Reconcile Bank deposits to billing receipts reports. Prepares annual CCRC, GLPL, and Medi Care filings. Conducts monthly GL account reconciliations. Generates facility financial reports and prepares for distribution to facility management. Provide other support functions for special projects as directed. Qualifications Associate degree or Certificate in Accounting or related business field. 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting and finance Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting theory Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel Ability to work cooperatively with employees, management and outside parties Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service Creative, problem solving and focused on managing workload efficiently and meeting deadlines Experience with
CMS QIES
system (PBJ), Sage Intacct (Accounting software), and Natural Log (radio station billing software) is a plus.
