We’re looking for a Full-Time Operations Accountant to join our team and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our financial processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, has strong organizational skills, and has a desire to advance their career.
This is a full-time, onsite position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is a great opportunity for professionals seeking work-life harmony and looking to grow within an accounting role.
- Key•Responsibilities•Support the VP of Finance with day-to-day administrative and financial tasks•Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly•Obtain approvals for vendor bills and accurately code into financial software•Handle payment processing / check run•Maintain strong relationships with vendors and respond to inquiries regarding payments and account status•Support accounts receivable function, including preparation of invoices and customer statements•Assist with monthly and year-end financial closings•Assist with supporting documentation for audit/financial review as needed•Perform ad-hoc analysis and other duties as needed to support the finance team•Provide general support and collaborate with other functional groups to align financial and operational objectives•Qualifications•Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related field (Internship experience considered•Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with QuickBooks is a plus•Strong understanding of accounting principles and systems•Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy•Effective written and oral communication skills•Comfortable learning new systems and working independently and as part of a team•Reliable, collaborative, and solution-oriented•
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
