Staff Accountant Position Available In Delaware, Pennsylvania

Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to oversee and manage key accounting operations across month-end and year-end closing activities, audit preparations, and process optimizations. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and cross-department collaboration. Accountant will be a part of the North American Corporate office. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments and enhance financial operations within a dynamic and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Be involved in controls and accounting policies standardization + General ledger, balance sheet reconciliations,month end close activities + Collaborate with various departments to confidentially identify and implement workflow improvements within financial operations and supply chain processes. + Prepare and assist with internal and external audits + Analysis of bad debt provisions, accruals, and other critical financial metrics to generate actionable insights. + Support strategic initiatives with ad-hoc financial analyses. + instrumental in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and producing accurate financial reports. + Lead efforts to enhance financial reporting systems and create best practices as available through technology or process improvement. Requirements Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in accounting, including general ledger and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Strong initiative and aptitude for problem-solving and process improvement.
• Experience with month-end close processes and account reconciliations.
