$50,000•$60,000 per year A bit about us: We are anew firm, very innovative in nature and support over 500 clients intax preparation and small business accounting. We are looking for adynamic and highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our team.

This is a remote position (ideally located in (or around)Pennsylvania) that offers an exciting opportunity to work in afast-paced, challenging, and stimulating environment. The idealcandidate will have a strong background in public accounting andwill be responsible for preparing individual and business taxreturns, managing financial records, and providing financial adviceto our clients. This role reports directly to the Owner and willhave significant interaction with clients, making excellentcommunication skills a must. The ideal candidate will be someonewith internship experience and/or an accounting degree. Again,ideal location is in/around the Philadelphia suburbs for occasionalin office meetings or client meetings (very rare). Preparing accurate and timely individual and business taxreturns. 2. Assisting clients with financial and tax planning. 3.Managing financial records including invoices, receipts, and taxpayments. 4. Utilizing QuickBooks to track and analyze financialdata. 5. Providing insightful information and expectations tosenior staff to aid in long-term and short-term decision making. 6.Reviewing complex income, expense and balance sheet reports toensure accuracy and completeness. 7. Preparing financial reports,such as balance sheets, income statements, and tax returns. 8.Communicating with clients regularly to understand their financialneeds and provide tailored advice. Qualifications To qualify forthis role, you should possess the following: 1. A bachelor’s degreein Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 2 yearsof experience in a public accounting role. 3. Proficiency inQuickBooks and other accounting software. 4. Proven experience withindividual and business tax preparation. 5. Excellentproblem-solving skills and attention to detail. 6. Strongcommunication skills, both written and verbal. 7. Ability to workindependently and as part of a team. 8. Excellent time managementskills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask. 9. CertifiedPublic Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred but notrequired.
