Staff Accountant Position Available In Lackawanna, Pennsylvania

Currently, we are seeking staff accountants in the Scranton, PA area to help assist one of our clients. As part of Robert Half’s loaned staff team, you will be responsible for assisting our clients with various accounting tasks, including:

• Transactional accounting (AP/AR)
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Journal entries and month-end close
• Prepare and review G/L codes
• Assist with process improvement for all areas of the accounting cycle Requirements
• 5+ years in a staff-level accounting position
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or an equivalent field
• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and general ledger processes
