Accountant Position Available In Montgomery, Pennsylvania

Accountant 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars 1400 Waverly Road, Gladwyne, PA 19035 Waverly Heights, a premier senior living community located in Gladwyne, PA is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Business Office team. This full-time, on-site role plays a key part in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization by supporting various accounting and reporting functions.

Responsibilities Include:

Perform a multitude of monthly bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and support audited financials. Record deposits and payments for multiple entities. Prepare and post monthly journal entries. Create and maintain financial analysis and reports for internal use. Assist in the preparation and development of annual labor, expense, and capital budgets. Provide support for various external and internal audits. Collaborate with other departments to support business office operations and improve processes as needed. Support all other business office functions as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required. Solid understanding of basic Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with Microsoft Office software, and a strong proficiency in MS Excel is a must. Experience with Quickbooks preferred. High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills The motivation and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. $60,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year
