Employee Discount Programs Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing all activities within the Master Data Management process for ERP and supporting systems ensuring thepleteness and accuracy of data used in financial, operational, and regulatory reporting processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports in month-end close activities for the general ledger, including maintaining accounting periods in the ERP system, posting journal entries, and preparing key financial, operational and regulatory reports. Maintains the general ledger chart of accounts, as well as profit center and cost center reference data, to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial and operational reports. Serves as the Blackline Administrator, responsible for maintaining Blackline accounts, tasks and journals, as well as overseeing monthly reporting. Maintains the corporate consolidation system for monthly closes, including account mapping, data loads, and validations. Runs Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) reports for month-end processes. Assists in designing and generating regular and ad hoc reports as needed, while also managing additional ad hoc projects. Performs SOX controls and provides support for both internal and external audits.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Basic knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley 404 requirements to perform key controls over financial reporting. Strong analytical skills as well as written and oralmunication skills. Analytical problem solving and attention to details. Goodanizational skills with an ability to juggle multiple tasks to effectively achieve results and strongmitment to meeting deadlines while adhering to a high level of attention to detail. Knowledge of ERP accounting and supporting systems including the ability to navigate through data elements, processes, and technologies such as master data management, data integration, and data integrity.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience. 1
- 2 years of related accounting work experience.
Experience with Master Data Management.
Experience with SAP or other larger ERP systems is required.
