Were looking for amotivated Senior Revenue Accountant to join our team. In this role,youll see to all day-to-day revenue and accounts receivableactivities. In addition, you will be involved in the monthlyfinancial close and developing and implementing systems forcollecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financialinformation. What you’ll do as the Senior Revenue Accountant at

Proof:

Review and interpret customer contracts and sales agreementsto ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition in accordancewith ASC 606 guidelines. Oversee and manage the company’s revenuerecognition in accordance with US GAAP standards. Identifyperformance obligations, transaction prices, and contract costs incustomer agreements. Analyze variable consideration (e.g.,discounts, rebates, or penalties) and determine its impact onrevenue recognition. Monitor and track deferred revenue, ensuringproper allocation and revenue recognition over the subscription orcontract period. Maintain detailed records of revenue recognitionschedules, journal entries, and other accounting documentation.

Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financialreporting packages. Serve as a backup for commission calculations.

Support and manage the preparation and execution of statutoryaudits. Collaborate and coordinate with various cross-functionalteams within the company. Co-ordinate internally with the financeteam on AR analysis to identify overdue payments and to ensureappropriate reserve creation. Perform ad hoc analysis and projectsas requested.

Month-End Close:

Perform monthly, quarterly, andannual close procedures for revenue, including preparation ofrevenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and reports.

Ensure that revenue transactions are accurately recorded in thegeneral ledger in accordance with GAAP. Prepare and analyze monthlyrevenue reports and provide explanations for significant variancesto management. Assist in the preparation of internal and externalfinancial statements related to revenue and deferred revenuebalances. What we’re looking for: 5 years of overall combinedaccounting and finance experience Educational background inAccounting, Finance, Related field, or comparable hands-on workexperience Strong analytical and reporting skills Thoroughknowledge of accounting principles and procedures Excellentaccounting software user and administration skills Experienceworking in fast paced, start up environment Prior experience inSaaS company preferred Proven ability to lead and workcross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment Strongcommunication skills Ability to prioritize and build consensuswithin multidisciplinary teams Self-starter mentality, with an eyefor detail Experience working in a Mac-based environment is a plus.
