We are currently seeking an experienced anddynamic Senior Cost Accountant to join our team in theManufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers aunique opportunity to play a pivotal role in our financialdepartment by providing accurate and timely cost accounting andfinancial analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible formanaging all phases of cost accounting to provide accurateinformation for financial reporting and support of the Company’smanufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior CostAccountant, your primary responsibilities will include: 1.Developing and implementing cost standards for materials and labor.2. Designing and implementing cost accounting systems. 3. Analyzingproduction costs and recommending changes. 4. Overseeing the costcontrol systems, managing and interpreting cost audits, andpreparing cost accounting reports for presentation to topmanagement. 5. Assisting in the preparation of budgets andforecasts and analyzing variances. 6. Interacting with managementto develop capital spending policies, manage capital budgetingprocess and prepare necessary reports. 7. Conducting physicalinventories and monitoring the cycle count program. 8. Reviewingactual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparingstandard costs to actual production costs. 9. Providing managementwith reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices andprofitability of products or services. 10. Maintaining CostAccounting System. 11. Assisting in Month end close of the GeneralLedger. 12. Conducts physical inventories and monitors the cyclecount program.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position,you should have the following qualifications: 1. A Bachelor’sdegree in Accounting or a related field. 2. A minimum of threeyears of experience in a similar role within the manufacturingindustry. 3. Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.4. Extensive knowledge of labor and overhead rates, budgeting, andforecasting. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 6.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Ability towork under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 8. Ability to workindependently and as part of a team.
