Office Operations Accountant Highland Builders WBD Tiverton, RI 02878 We are a professional residential construction company looking for a staff accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage all accounting, sub contractor obligations and business insurance/licensing requirements. Responsibilities:
Billing (Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable) Invoicing, change orders, purchase orders and work orders. AIA Billing experience a plus. Oversee and manage all aspects of office operations and administration Maintain and monitor Insurance obligations Assist with budget preparation and expense tracking Create financial reports and maintain accurate financial records Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Business Administration or Accounting- experienced bookkeeper Highly proficient with Quickbooks Online Highly proficient with Microsoft excel Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports using Excel Spreadsheets Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
