Our company is seeking a highly motivated anddetail-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant.

This exciting opportunity is perfect for the seasoned professionalwith a strong background in accounting and finance who is ready totake their career to the next level. The successful candidate willbe responsible for a wide range of accounting duties, includingpreparing financial statements, maintaining journal entries,ensuring compliance, and conducting special analyses. The role alsoinvolves tax preparation and the use of accounting software such asPeopleSoft and/or Workday.

Responsibilities:

As a SeniorAccountant, your responsibilities will include but are not limitedto: 1. Prepare and maintain journal entries, ensuring they areaccurate and up to date. 2. Compile, review, and prepare financialstatements to ensure they are accurate and adhere to accountingstandards. 3. Ensure compliance with all relevant financialregulations and standards. 4. Maintain restricted fund reportdistribution lists, ensuring they are accurate and updated. 5.Conduct special analyses to provide insights into financialperformance and inform decision-making. 6. Prepare tax returns andprovide tax advice, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax lawsand regulations. 7. Use accounting software such as PeopleSoft andWorkday to manage financial data and perform accounting duties. 8.Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure theaccuracy and integrity of financial data.

Qualifications:

To beconsidered for the role of Permanent Senior Accountant, candidatesmust meet the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years ofexperience in accounting or a related field. 3. Proven experiencewith journal entries, financial statements, compliance, and specialanalyses. 4. Experience with tax preparation and familiarity withrelevant tax laws and regulations. 5. Proficiency in accountingsoftware such as PeopleSoft and Workday. 6. Strong analyticalskills and attention to detail. 7. Excellent communication andcollaboration skills. 8. Ability to work independently and managemultiple tasks simultaneously. 9. CPA certification is preferred.
