Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain the company’s cost systems for various plants
• Roll and verify standard / current costs for all products
• Review Bill of Material (BOM) and coordinate with plants anddepartments
• Review and analyze absorption (Material, Labor, Overhead)P&L impact
• Compile Productivity and Efficiency reports for operations andmanagement
• Prepare and analyze, as necessary, excess & obsolete inventoryand assures appropriate handling
• Perform Month End closing processes and journal entries
• Reconcile various general ledger accounts including inventorymonthly, quarterly, or annually as required
• Coordinate and oversee physical inventories, includingreconciliation and recording
• Complete and analyze Gross Profit and Product mix reports formanagement
• Maintain the company’s transfer pricing files and completetransfer pricing study documents
• Complete various inventory reports on monthly basis and otherreports as required
• Review departmental budget and spend
• Assist in the company’s various Product Line moves andprojects
• Oversee Cost Accountants role
• Other Ad Hoc tasks as required

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance or related field
• 3-5 years’ experience
• Demonstrated experience in computerized accounting systems andknowledge of relevant computer technology
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in teams
• Domestic and international travel, 5%
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel Knowledge
• Hyperion, SmartView, Crystal, BAAN and Oracle experience aplus
