Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the financial aspects of manufacturing operations and inventory by tracking and analyzing costs, managing inventory, budgeting, and forecasting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifies opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in material and labor costs.
• Recommends changes to processes and policies to improve data capture and reporting.
• Works with Operations personnel to ensure timely and accurate shop floor reporting.
• Overseas inventory control and accuracy.
• Ensures integrity of inventory balances.
• Develops product standard costs
• Evaluates accuracy of Bills of Material and Labor Routings.
• Oversees Bills of Materials and Labor Routing maintenance.
• Supports Month-end process.
• Participates in cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Supports Operations management as needed.
• Performs projects as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Superb communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with little oversight; self-starter.
• Solid understanding of Information Systems and MS Excel.
• Must be comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the business.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or relevant field.
• 5 – 7 years’ proven experience in operational accounting.
• Worked in a manufacturing environment.
• Shop floor reporting experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be comfortable spending prolonged time on the manufacturing floor.
• Willing to travel to outside facilities in SC and PA as needed.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
