The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of financial software, general ledger reconciliation, and experience in both public accounting and private sector finance. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Oversee general ledger reconciliation processes to maintain accurate financial records. Implement and maintain financial software systems, such as Quickbooks and AIA contracts, to streamline accounting processes. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely completion of all audit requirements. Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Provide guidance and support to Management Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Proficiency in financial software such as Quickbooks or Xero is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and practices. Experience in public accounting is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and collaboration with team members.
