As a Controller with Sea Island Land Development, you will play a crucial role in strategic financial planning, budget monitoring, variance identification and ensuring overall compliance with financial regulations. Primary Responsibilities:

Directs, coordinates and supervises accounting and administrative services under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer Perform forecasts, cost management, inventory control, and all financial reporting requirements Develop appropriate accounting analysis and reporting formats, policies and procedures and schedules to support the reporting and analysis process Oversee accounting functions such as, accounts payable and accounts receivable Assume responsibility for tax planning, audit coordination and implementation of financial controls to safeguard company assets Performance of bank statement reconciliation and receipt collection Prepare and present narratives, graphs and other reports to support business reviews management and customer presentations Performance of start to completion construction accounting

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certification Deep understanding and demonstrated history of job costing, percentage of completion accounting, gross profit within a construction/engineering environment Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements (SOX) Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills

Management Responsibilities:

While this position will have no direct reports, this position will serve as a subject matter and technical expert and provide mentorship and guidance to financial staff members
