Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within the detail-oriented services industry. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in benefits reconciliation, payroll, and variance analysis, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed reconciliations of benefits payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Verify and validate insurance benefits, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
• Conduct in-depth research to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Analyze variances in financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Manage bill payments and ensure timely processing of all related transactions.
• Collaborate with the benefits team to maintain accurate records and streamline processes.
• Provide insights and support during audits or financial reviews.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of all reconciliation activities and procedures. Requirements
• Proven experience in benefits payroll and reconciliation processes.
• Strong knowledge of insurance benefits and their verification procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to research and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Proficiency in variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Experience with bill payment systems and related processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
