Position Summary We are seeking adetail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join ourgrowing team. This role is key in managing financial operationsrelated to job costing , fixed assets , and general ledgeraccounting . The Senior Accountant will work closely with projectmanagers and leadership to ensure accurate financial tracking andreporting of construction projects. Key Responsibilities Overseejob cost accounting to ensure accurate project tracking, budgeting,and variance analysis. Maintain fixed asset schedules, recordadditions/disposals, and calculate depreciation. Prepare monthly,quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Support themonthly close process including journal entries, accountreconciliations, and accruals. Collaborate with project managers toreview and analyze job cost performance. Assist in the preparationof budgets and forecasts related to projects and capitalexpenditures. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financialpolicies. Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.

Continuously evaluate accounting processes and recommendimprovements for efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor’sdegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5 years ofprogressive accounting experience; construction industry experiencestrongly preferred. Solid understanding of job costing and fixedasset accounting. Experience with construction accounting software(e.g., Viewpoint, Sage, Procore, or similar). Advanced proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems. Strongorganizational, analytical, and communication skills. CPAcertification or progress toward CPA preferred.
