Job Summary:

This position is a key member to support the Finance & Accounting Manager with significant knowledge and experience of plant accounting. This position will work with manufacturing cost control, fixed assets management, and budget management. Reporting financial performance monthly to the headquarters for their disclosure is required.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

Responsible for monthly, quarterly, annually closing by recording all necessary financial processes in system to keep trial balance accurate. Post all necessary journal entries for cost calculations, fixed assets, and accruing transactions. Perform accounting functions in system to ensure BOM material, labor, and overhead costs are maintained and process accurate cost rollups in budget events and during a period of actuals. Maintain accurate Inventory records by comparing inventory transactions in system with balance that theoretically should be. Ensure all Fixed Assets projects are recorded properly in the system based on financial regulations of FA. Prepare and support the Finance & Accounting Manager for financial report and analysis at month end. Report financial statements to the headquarters for their disclosure purpose and assure fiduciary compliance. Take leadership for financial audits, collaborating with external auditors, understanding their requirements, and providing necessary information Prepare and assist the Finance & Accounting Manager in budget events to develop accurate financial statements. Monthly preparation of Sales/Use Tax return and payment. Prepare data for monthly payroll of expatriates. Also take leadership for their tax filings with collaborating external consultants. Report designated forms for government subsidy programs and make applications to receive grant revenue from government on time they require. Submit necessary information to external tax consultants so that they can file tax returns to governments. Also, pay taxes to governments based on the results of the filings. Responsible for daily banking entries and bank reconciliations. Other duties as defined by the Finance & Accounting Manager. Education/ Experience Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with relevant experience. Minimum 3-years of experience in senior level manufacturing cost accounting. CPA or CMA certification is preferred Experience and understanding of various accounting software Ability to understand and work with Financial Management system and Microsoft Office suite Experience working with an international, culturally diverse team is preferred Familiarity with IFRS and other accounting regulations is preferred. Proven track record with ability to develop and maintain a good working relationship with customers, suppliers/vendors, auditors, CPA firms, employees, and management team Self-motivated person with a passion for finance/accounting Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
