Position Summary:

The Accountant will perform the accounting duties involved inpiling, analyzing and reporting the financial performance of departmental operating units.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or closely related field required.

Experience:

A minimum of three (3) years Accountant experience required.
Three (3) year’s General Ledger experience and payroll experience preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to; review monthly financial statements to determine proper charging of operating revenues and expenditures, prepare monthly ie statements by consolidating accounting data and provide written interpretation of results; monitor and report on financial performance of individual departments and the division as a whole; rmend corrective actions based on analysis and assist with year-end closing activities.
Make rmendations to improve financial systems.
Perform in-house audits of operating units.
Analyze deficiencies and report to director and assist with development of new business proposals including budget preparations, project specifications, capital investments, and pricing structures.
Work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, physicians, department heads, and executive leadership.
Effectively utilize stronganizational skills.
Consistently display effective verbal and writtenmunication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Explorer, Access, and PowerPoint.
Always exemplify core customer service skills.
Completes other duties as assigned by department leadership.
