ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We, Laudisi, the parent company of Smokingpipes.com, Laudisi Distribution Group, Caldwell Cigars, Cornell & Diehl, Peterson of Dublin, and Low Country Pipe & Cigar, are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our Accounting team as an Accountant. Your responsibilities will include preparing journal entries, accounts payable, and leading the monthly close process. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Accountant will assist the Accounting team in overseeing the company’s financial data and compliance. Daily and periodical duties will include: Review monthly bookkeeping and finance deliverables Assist with timely and accurate month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and generating financial reports Identify and recommend improvements to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and provide guidance Presentations to company leadership and special projects as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from a four-year college or university

Experience:

2-5 years of private corporate accounting experience Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition and cost accounting. Expert in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Oracle NetSuite, or other accounting software Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level) Working knowledge of Google Suite and

MS 365 SKILLS

Experience with QuickBooks API, Third Party Tools, and QuickBooks Automation Familiarity with foreign currency exchange Familiarity with international freight, customs, and brokerage Familiarity with multi-state sales and use tax returns Familiarity with excise tax returns
