Columbia, SC Job Summary:
The cost analyst is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations on manufacturing accounting, product costing, pricing, and financial analysis to enable operational improvements and profitable growth.

Excellence:
Promote the Sealing Technologies and Enpro culture around creating value and driving excellence in our organization by: Reconcile inventory accounts monthly including E&O calculations, aged WIP reserve, shrink reserve, and other inventory reserves as required. Identify and implement opportunities for improvement Maintain the fixed asset schedule for additions and dispositions and track capital spend Coordinate and lead annual physical inventory counts and periodic cycle counting program Conduct the annual cost roll and other cost rolls throughout the year as needed Calculate labor and overhead rates and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles Support operational leaders on daily operational matters and improve visibility of costs to make intelligent business decisions

Accounting or Finance Minimum Experience:
3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment, including accounting/finance experience Preferred experience: MBA and/or CPA Cost accounting experience Sarbanes Oxley knowledge and compliance Experience in Macola ERP system
