The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting and finance, with a thorough understanding of financial concepts and practices. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and the ability to manage general ledger reconciliation while ensuring compliance with GAAP regulations. The Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple restaurant locations Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Reconcile bank statements, credit card activity, and POS system reports Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for each restaurant Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting Work closely with restaurant GMs to ensure accurate reporting of sales, labor, and expenses Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Support payroll processing and tip allocations in coordination with HR and operations teams Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, including sales and occupancy tax Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Coordinate with external CPA firm on audits, tax filings, and other financial matters Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and accuracy Assist ownership and senior management with ad hoc financial reporting and strategic planning

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required) 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in hospitality, restaurant, or multi-unit environments Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Restaurant365, or similar platforms) Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about accounting to apply for this exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization’s success.
