They are looking to bring on aSenior Financial Accountant/Analyst who would like to learn andgrow within the company! This opportunity starts on a temporarybasis and can become permanent for the right candidate depending onperformance and fit
Schedule:
The Senior FinancialAccountant/Analyst role is fully on site in Columbia, MD.Monday-Friday 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm. Candidate must be available foroccasional evening meetings. Reports directly to the Director ofFinance Annual Salary starting at $78,000 Overview of the SeniorFinancial Accountant/Analyst role: Prepare and verbally presentsegment financial statements, analysis, budgets, forecasts, andnotes to BoD Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, andexpense transactions into QuickBooks Process monthly advertisinginvoice and collection recording Prepare monthly bank account andgeneral ledger reconciliation Process expense reports and vendorpayments File quarterly MD sales tax Respond to audit andregulatory tax requests as needed Qualifications for the SeniorFinancial Accountant/Analyst Bachelor’s degree or in Accounting,Finance or related required. Candidates who have or are pursuingtheir CPA or Masters in a related field a plus 2-3 years offinancial accounting experience Experience with QuickBooks orsimilar accounting software required Advanced Excel skills Detailoriented, good time management and multitasking abilities, andhighly organized Great problem solving and analytical skills Strongpresentation skills and ability to speak with board members
