This position is responsible for performing the tax, audit, andconsulting services for a variety of clients in our firm that willbe assigned to this position. This includes review and finalizationof business and individual tax returns in a timely manner,reviewing financial statements, assisting on compilation, reviews,and audit engagements. Job Details
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are notlimited to the following: Accurately and timely reviewing andfinalizing tax returns federal, state, and local tax returns forindividuals, business establishments and other organizations.
Supervising members of the tax team to ensure that tax returns arecompleted correctly. Developing tax strategies to assist clients inbeing tax compliant. Review annual corporate and individual incometax projections. Assist in yearend tax planning for assignedclients and assist manager to advise the clients regarding effectsof business activities on taxes and on strategies for minimizingtax liability. Identifying tax problems and developing solutions.
Examine accounts/records and compute taxes owed according toprescribed rates, laws, and regulations, using computer software.
Completing responses and schedules in preparation for income taxaudits. Monitoring developments in tax legislation and informingmanagement and staff of developments in tax legislation. Buildingand maintaining relationships with clients. Assist in theresolution of federal, state, and local tax notices and audits asassigned. Perform audit, review, and compilation engagements inaccordance with AICPA standards. Develop knowledge, understanding,and compliance with all applicable US GAAP accounting rules andstandards relating to job duties. Review financial statements,perform month end and quarterly closing, and review financialstatements of assigned high-end clients (e.g., balance sheets,income statements and cash flow statements) as needed. Supervisingof staff to review financial statements and ensure timely deliveryof financial statements to clients. Perform tax, accounting, andaudit related research necessary for job duties or specialprojects. Assist the Clients in preparation of budgets, long termbusiness plan, forecasting and financial modeling of operatingtrends. Ensure that Nitya, LLC’s clients comply with periodic taxpayment, information reporting and other taxing authorityrequirements. Perform special projects and other duties as assignedby management. Assist with other strategic or operational firminitiatives. Support the partner in the development and planning ofpractice objectives and engagements. Any other duties or tasksassigned from time to time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ANDABILITIES) CPA (Preferred) 5-years minimum experience in review ofPersonal and Business Tax Returns. Strong organization, oral andwritten communication skills. Must be a team player, willing towork with/assist other members of the firm. Proficiency inMicrosoft Office products. Strong client relationship skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects anddeadlines. Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise withMicrosoft Office products such as Excel and Word; as well asexperience with quick books accounting software and fast learner ofTax software-Ultra Tax. Analytical skills with particular attentionto detail. Strong project management skills. Strong team managementskills•the ability to lead, motivate and coach teams of people.
