Job Description
Come Begin Your Story as a Staff Accountant! We are looking for a Staff Accountant who is ready to dive deep into financial operations, drive accuracy, and help us build a stronger future. As a Staff Accountant, you will: Analyze, prepare, and post monthly journal entries to the general ledger. Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, investigating and documenting any discrepancies. Develop and update supporting schedules for key general ledger accounts. Collaborate across the department to assist with journal entries, data imports, annual reporting, and special projects. Conduct monthly expense analysis, identifying variances and unusual trends. Manage the preparation, analysis, and invoicing of monthly activities for foreign operations. Record daily cash activities for branch operations, ensuring daily extracts are current and accurate. Maintain lease amortization schedules in Costar and prepare monthly rent amortization entries. Prepare and file State Annual Reports accurately and timely. Create audit schedules and respond to both Internal and External Auditor requests. Prepare and distribute monthly management reports, including ACH setup and monthly-to-month lease payment updates. Demonstrate reliable, prompt, and consistent attendance-a must for this role. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred ( High School Diploma or equivalent required ) 2 – 3 years of related accounting experience Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and theories Proficiency with Excel and Word (you will be use them daily) Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written-you will work with internal teams as well as external partners
