Now Hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join a great manufacturing company in York SC. This position plays a key role in the day-to-day accounting operations, including managing general ledger entries, reconciling bank accounts, preparing tax filings, and supporting audit activities. The ideal candidate brings solid accounting experience, strong analytical capabilities, and a collaborative mindset to help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general accounting duties, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner. Prepare and file sales and use tax reports in accordance with local and state regulations. Analyze financial data to support accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards. Assist in the preparation and coordination of information for internal and external audits. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function. Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with US GAAP; familiarity with IFRS is a plus.

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, manufacturing accounting experience. Strong understanding of US GAAP; IFRS exposure is a plus. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; solid knowledge of other MS Office applications. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is preferred. Working knowledge of sales and use tax regulations and filings. Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
