Accountant Position Available In York, South Carolina

Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Fort Mill, South Carolina. In this role, you will help oversee financial operations, help with day-to-day accounting processes, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Responsibilities:

• Help oversee and perform month-end accounting tasks, including cash flow statements, bank reconciliations, general ledger reviews, and reconciliations.
• Manage daily cash operations, including initiating payments, processing wire transfers, and reconciling bank statements.
• Administer accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare and verify financial reports and shipment records to maintain accurate documentation.
• Help with payroll, including journal postings, benefit plan updates, and provider notifications for employee changes.
• Resolve billing disputes and customer complaints through effective communication with sales and operations teams.
• Create and maintain customer accounts, monitor overdue invoices, and support credit control processes.
• Process and approve expense reports, ensuring timely reimbursements.
• Perform additional financial and operational tasks as required to support business needs. Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial operations or accounting, preferably with international exposure.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable procedures.
• Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations, general ledger management, and month-end close processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, enabling effective collaboration across departments.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliations.
