Job Description
Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturing client to recruit and hire a full-time Senior Accountant to manage key accounting functions across multiple manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the general ledger, including reconciliation and reporting for regional facilities. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Oversee capital expenditures and ensure proper classification. Handle all aspects of fixed assets: capitalization, depreciation, amortization, disposals, and write-offs. Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and provide insights for corporate decision-making. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Participate in internal and external audits and physical inventories. Support other functions as assigned by the manager.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred). 3+ years of accounting experience. Manufacturing industry background (preferred). Expertise in financial and general accounting, fixed assets, CapEx, reporting, and compliance. Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax depreciation rules. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
