505 Deaderick Street, Nashville, TN 37243 (On-site; hybrid option possible later) Job Summary Seeking an Accountant 1 to establish and manage purchase orders, analyze and move encumbrances, prepare special reports, and assist with year-end financial closings. Key Responsibilities Establish and manage encumbrances for contracts and grants. Review and approve requisitions and purchase orders. Provide support for internal and external purchasing inquiries. Assist with fiscal year-end closing tasks. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a bachelor’s degree with 36 quarter hours in Accounting or CPA certification. (Transcript required.) Skills Experience with contracts and encumbrances. Knowledge of (Purchasing, Contracts, AP modules). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
