  • Director
  • capable of effectively handling multiple client relationships while leading a team of professionals to deliver successful forensic accounting and economic damages engagement outcomes to clients across a wide array of industries.

A key aspect of this role is the opportunity and need to effectively transfer knowledge and expertise throughout the broader team, modeling a passion for excellence and mentoring junior associates to support their overall development and growth goals. This role will provide hybrid flexibility to candidates within proximity to multiple offices throughout our footprint with possible remote consideration for the right resource.

  • As a Director, you will model a detailed-oriented, analytical approach to the completion and/or review of deliverable activities including:
  • + Preparation of discovery (document) requests to obtain relevant information + Complex analysis of financial data including tax returns, financial statements, general ledgers, etc.

+ Identification of relevant facts to assist client and counsel as set forth in information including; complaints/petitions, deposition transcripts, contracts, agreements, etc. + Develop approach to calculating and refuting damages, and the preparation and review of economic damages calculations in litigation matters + Critique of opposing experts’ reports and associated damages calculations in connection with litigation matters + Expert witness testimony + Manage client relationships and communicate results and work product as appropriate + Engage in business development through management and expansion of established and new client relationships

  • What you bring to the role:
  • + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance or other relevant business discipline + Advanced degree or professional certification, such as CPA, CFE, CFF and/or CVA + Demonstrated experience providing expert witness testimony/or prior audit experience a plus (Big 4/Tier II accounting firms preferred) + Minimum 10+ years of experience within a public accounting firm or corporate industry accounting role + Possess a proven track record of business development including established clients + Demonstrated mastery of key Microsoft software – Excel, Word and Outlook is required; practical knowledge of Tableau or other industry standard data analytics and data visualization tools a plus + Solid organizational skills, especially ability to meet project deadlines and successfully multi-task while working independently and/or effectively managing a team of professionals and delegating work assignments as needed + Capability to work in and successfully adapt to changes in a demanding, deadline driven environment with a focus on details and accuracy while navigating ambiguous and complex client assignments leveraging superior analytical skills + Exceptional verbal and written communication skills + Ability to travel as needed, expected
