Job Description
LaSalle Network is hiring a Senior Accountant for a construction client based in Brentwood, Tennessee . This role is ideal for accounting professionals with a strong foundation in construction industry practices, reporting and analytics, and day-to-day financial operations. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to manage job cost accounting, monthly closes, audits, vendor payments, and financial forecasting. Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
Support project teams with accounting functions, including job costing, billing, and reconciliations Manage journal entries, GL account reconciliations, and monthly close processes Process invoices, cash receipts, and credit applications Oversee project setup in Viewpoint (budgets, POs, subcontracts, etc.) Assist with sales/use tax filings, business tax returns, and compliance reporting Act as a subject matter expert for analytics software (Prophix) and provide user training Review and process expense reports, credit card charges, and vendor payments Help drive continuous improvement in accounting procedures and internal controls Support audits and collaborate with external partners on documentation and reporting Contribute to financial forecasting, planning, and special projects
Senior Accountant Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or Master’s preferred) 5+ years of accounting experience (construction industry strongly preferred) Solid understanding of GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Viewpoint, Timberline, or similar systems a plus Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or on a team Effective communicator with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the qualifications, please apply today!
