Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Perform job costing and project accounting, ensuring accurate allocation of costs to specific projects. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to monitor project budgets and financial performance. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Provide support for audits and other financial reviews. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
4+ years of accounting experience Percentage of completion accounting experience required. Degree in Accounting or related field is required.
