LHH is partnered with a growing organization for a newly-created Senior Project Accountant opportunity, which offers upward mobility, a flexible hybrid schedule and a strong compensation package.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain precise project budgets and forecasts Oversee the entire project accounting process from initiation to completion for multiple projects Create Work in Progress (WIP) schedules and make revenue recognition entries Implement project adjustments as directed by Project Directors and Managers Track and evaluate project costs, revenues, and overall profitability Examine project variance reports and resolve any discrepancies Support annual audit requirements related to project accounting Develop and document procedures for project accounting Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field 6+ years of project accounting experience Contruction, architecture, engineering, or related industry experience is required
