Job description CPA/EA/Accountant/Tax Professional Job Description We are seeking dedicated, ambitious, versatile, organized candidates with attention to detail and good communication skills to assist with all aspects of taxes, accounting, and bookkeeping for our Company and any future Companies. This position will allow you to work with physicians and administrators providing tax/accounting/bookkeeping services as well as project based endeavors. Extensive experience as a tax professional is required in addition to tax resolution knowledge, interest, and experience. Our Accountant/Bookkeeper also maintains our internal accounts payables, bank reconciliations, and manages receivables amongst many other responsibilities. Responsibilities to
Include:
Business and Personal Income Tax Preparation and Submission Tax liability optimization and strategy, including R D, etc Tax Resolution (with 3rd party assistance) Consult with Executives to discuss a variety of tax planning strategies Vendor relations and disputes Payroll Oversight (including preparation of quarterly 941’s, annual W-2’s, W-3’s, 940’s and 1099’s) Book Reconciliation and General Bookkeeping Financial reporting and accounts payable/receivable Acting as intermediary between management and any 3rd party vendors Other accounting activities and special projects as assigned Atypical responsibilities and duties as needed by the Company (to be discussed during interview process)
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have: Certification as an Enrolled Agent (EA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) At least five (5) years of experience in accounting (experience with medical is preferred) At least five (5) years of Tax preparation experience, including completing amended and complex returns Experience and knowledge with Tax Resolution Knowledge and experience with state tax preparation laws, and regulations Ability to use analysis to ask meaningful fact finding questions when presented tax documents Knowledge of accounting processes and advanced mathematical skills Skilled using tax preparation and payroll softwares troubleshooting common tax program problems Embrace and flourish under above average expectations Proficient computer skills (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Excel, etc) Strong written and communications skills Compensation will be commensurate with experience and skills and will increase based on experience and performance.
