Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering precise financial results.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly documented and categorized.
- Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including tracking and recording depreciation.
- Utilize QuickBooks to process and maintain financial data.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience with bank reconciliations and maintaining general ledger accounts.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Strong understanding of journal entries and month-end close procedures.
- Knowledge of fixed asset accounting and depreciation.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
