Accountant (TEMP Position)

Pay Rate :

$25.00/hour Dickson, TN 37055

Shift :

Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Position Summary :

We are seeking an Accountant for a temporary assignment. The Accountant will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day activities within the Accounting Department, including assisting with accounts payable (A/P), payroll, general ledger activities, month-end closings, and preparing account reconciliations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the Fixed Asset Accounting System, assisting with daily cash deposits, and handling special projects as directed by the CFO and Controller. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of accounting functions.

Position Qualifications :

Minimum Education :

Associates Degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)

Required Skills :

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with Accounts Payable (A/P) Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Ability to perform general accounting duties, including account reconciliations and month-end close processes Comfortable working with personal computers and accounting software

Performance Expectations :

Demonstrates competence in required accounting functions as per the Competency Validation Checklist Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure accurate financial records and reporting Maintains high standards of accuracy and detail in financial operations

Work Environment :

Standard office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Pay Details:
