The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established financial standards. Duties Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data. Support the financial auditing process by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Engage in accrual accounting practices to ensure timely recognition of revenues and expenses Month end. Maintain the general ledger by recording transactions and ensuring all entries are accurate. Contribute to corporate accounting tasks, including tax preparation and compliance. Write clear and concise financial reports for management review. Collaborate with team members on special projects related to wills, trusts, and estate law as needed. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Familiarity with financial auditing processes and balance sheet reconciliation techniques. Basic understanding of accrual accounting principles and corporate accounting practices. Knowledge of general ledger accounting systems and GAAP standards. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting. Excellent written communication skills for effective financial report writing. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities.
